Oslo, (KEA), Kashmir dispute is more than 63 years old. All hue and cries on Indian suppression and human rights violations did not bring enough support and or interference from any third party, enough to rescue the very subjugated Kashmiries in Indian Jammu and Kashmir. Let’s try to analyse, we may pinpoint some of reasons, if not all of them. . The recent mass graves found in Indian Kashmir tells the horrendous reign of terror been unleashed by Indian Army and paramilitary troops.

All those disappearances which were bounced back by local and high courts in Indian Kashmir are showing themselves buried underneath. We have heard a voice from Amnesty International, a little voice from European Parliaments and little bit from inside the Kashmir Parliament. These voices been faint and soon will die out, we afraid! This will happen because the India is stronger and influential country across the globe. India provides one of the largest bulks of the cheapest labour to glooming western Industries and multinationals. India is very attractive market and thus a strong country.

The stronger enjoys privileges and relaxations no matter how serious violations and crimes they are involved with. The truth and the bitter one is that the Power dictates even in this modern democratic and civilized world order! Europe has its own limitations to raise any protest with India and America too. The agony seems continues until something unexpected show up on international political scene.

The UN is merely a hostage to stronger nations. That seems just exhibition or a show up while taking dictations from the stronger master. Let’s count on the number of killed and molested people on earth and compare to that figure hundred years back, Or just see through the history of Mankind. No normal world order in the history of mankind shows this scale of bloodshed, killings, hunger, starvation, exploitation and subjugation. Hundred dies in Middle East, Thousands found in mass graves in Kashmir, dozens killed in Afghanistan and Iraq and millions are starving to death in Africa. But the world order claims stability, respect for human rights, sovereignty for other nations, and tells about the ever civilized cultures, traditions and better norms of life as ever existed in human history. The wars are being fought with conventional weapons all manufactured and designed by advanced industrial growth. They have to be sold and the suppliers need glooming markets all over the world. Highly skilled employees are working on production and design. If production stops, thousands missing jobs, Companies ceased to exist. This tells that conflicts are essential to keep up the tempo to these weapon industries.

This is a fact that when violations of rules and regulations, whether they are concerned to a small district or they might be from a group of people or from a bigger nations like India, becomes a practice and that practice gets prolonged over a time period, then that begins to look less serious and less hurting as it looks like in the beginning. The media, the public, human rights organs and organizations react violently in the beginning and get used to watch all that drama with a quite passive and calm posture with the lapse of time.

When crime becomes practice, the most concerning human attitude is to start accepting it as a part of status quo despite the fact that crime is after all a crime.  

One of the effective techniques to justify violations and crimes against the humanity is war against terror propaganda. This propaganda kills the defiance to power. All the defiance and denial to compliance to authority has gained a modern name and that is what we know as terrorism. The world is more unsafe than it was ten years ago. Despite spending trillions of dollars by NATO in wars during the past ten years, we are witnessing an even more unsafe and economically weaker world today. But the stronger sides rarely learn from their own mistakes. Rather they like to put the blame to other weaker ones. This is always difficult to convince the stronger nations that responsibility of the disorder is falling not on weaker ones.

Power has its dictating codes, Power is inclined to impose, keen to suppress the defiance through its dictating codes. Thus power like to rule, sometimes at all costs, crimes against humanity, killings, molesting and suppressing by all modern techniques.

KEA believe that if a person being told that there is serious unrest going on in the backyard of his prosperous and peaceful home and one or other way this person own family is involved and thus linked to that unrest. He must realize that this unrest may and would certainly pollute the very peace of his own family some day and this person will and should bother to think about it. The opinion influencing job is rather difficult no doubt.

The logic may convince and it should. We believe and requesting the political powerhouse in Europe and America that Kashmir is not a far flung area entrapped between regional powers, far away from civilized nations, showing no potential danger to so-called civilized and democratic World order and we are telling this to western diplomats and politicians that Kashmir dispute falls under their area of interest, not through Indian business market but with respect to human rights violations and state terrorism unleashed by the largest army concentrated in an area cordoned off from rest of the world and that is a great threat to peace across our modern global village.

Kashmir European Alliance coordinated with diplomats and leaders in Norwegian Parliament, Kashmiri leaders from both Indian and Pakistani Kashmir and representatives of human rights organizations in Europe and rest of the World. Kashmir European Alliance hosted number of diplomats and Kashmiri leaders in Oslo during the past years and tried to bring up a comprehensive mutual understanding on human rights issues in Indian Jammu and Kashmir. Kashmir European Alliance has been engaged in a rather key job to influence the opinion in western circles and have been succeeded to make strong lobby in Norwegian Parliament and tried to discourage all media stunts those are aimed to boost fake advertisements on cost of great sacrifices for those who offered their lives for freedom, the kids, women, old and tender youth being molested and humiliated by the Indian Army in Indian Jammu & Kashmir.
