A Kashmiri delegation met Norwegian Officials, they brief latest situation of the region

Oslo, Nov 23, 2009 – A Kashmir delegation met the Norwegian Foreign Office officials last week. The delegation comprising Mr.Chaudhry Mukhtar, Sadar Shabir Ahmad and Pervez Mahmood briefed the Norwegian Officials about the latest situation in Kashmir.


They emphasized for an international role specially Norwegian Interference to help in the resolution of Kashmir problem. They pointed out that a huge Indian Army is deployed in the held valley and people of Kashmir are suffering day by day by the Indian forces but international community is silent over the issue.


The Norwegian Officials called for resumption of dialogue process between India and Pakistan on the different bilateral issues including Kashmir. They said, Norway can not play any mediatory role with out request of the concerned parties. They however said, their country respect the human rights in all over the world and concerns over the violation of human right in different part of the globe.
